Job summary

Culina is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for our chilled distribution operation in Evesham. This permanent full-time role follows a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern, delivering to major UK retailers and RDCs across the country.

Average shifts are around 11 hours depending on routes and requirements. You will join a supportive transport team where safe driving, reliable service and high professional standards are valued daily.

Qualifications

• Possession of LGV Class 1 Licence and CPC.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and drivers’ hours.
• Excellent communication skills for customer-facing roles.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effective prioritisation of workload to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out chilled distribution deliveries to main retail RDCs nationwide.
• Deliver to key customer sites including major UK retailers.
• Complete self-tip deliveries when required, including pallet breakdowns.
• Collect equipment or returns and bring them back to site.
• Report to Transport team at shift start and update delays or issues.
• Complete paperwork accurately and ensure PODs are signed.
• Follow company procedures including health, safety and hygiene standards.
• Manage working time in line with tachograph rules.
• Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects.
