Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Portbury is seeking a professional delivery driver with a valid C+E licence to operate trunking and multi-drop runs.

You will start early (04:00–06:00), work a 4 on/4 off pattern, with 39+ hours paid overtime at time and a half, plus a £40 weekly shift allowance.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence with valid DigiTacho and CPC.
• Previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Ability to lift up to 18 kg.
• Clear English communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the vehicle is legal and roadworthy at all times - all daily checks are completed, and any vehicle defects are reported.
• Ensure the correct goods have been loaded and are secure before moving the vehicle.
• Carry out trunking and multi-drop deliveries in a timely manner and in accordance with the law (including drivers working time regulations).
• Double check deliveries with the customer whilst providing a polite and helpful experience. Obtain relevant signatures and paperwork before returning to your home depot.

Working hours: 4 on 4 off Days start times between 04:00-06:00 - No tramping.

All hours worked over 39 hours each week are paid at time and a half.

Basic hourly rate: £15.61 per hour, plus £40.00 per week shift allowance, paid weekly.
