• Trunking depot to depot (curtain‑sider work).
• Safely operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles.
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections.
• Ensure all loads are correctly secured.

Day‑to‑Day Duties

• Trunking depot to depot (curtain‑sider work)
• Safely operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all loads are correctly secured
• Adhere to traffic laws and company procedures
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements
• Assist with loading and unloading when required

Essential Skills

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence
• Minimum of 12 months’ experience driving C+E vehicles
• Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements)
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and time‑keeping
• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving other commercial vehicles
• Previous multi‑drop delivery experience

Training Provided

• Full industry‑related training and ongoing support throughout
