Job summary

Workchain is recruiting an experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver for a Trafford Park client. This role offers reliable ongoing work, consistent hours, and competitive pay, starting at 7:00am with around 40–50 hours per week.

You'll deliver and collect used wooden pallets for local customers, complete deliveries and collections safely, maintain a professional manner with customers, and uphold road safety and drivers hours regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum of 2 years' Class 1 driving experience

• Earning £18.50–£19.00 per hour, paid weekly.
• Delivering and collecting used wooden pallets to and from a variety of locally based customers.
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining a professional and friendly approach when dealing with customers.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence required.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Minimum of 2 years' previous Class 1 driving experience.
• Good knowledge of road safety and drivers' hours regulations.
• A reliable, punctual and professional attitude.
