Job description

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers. Newly passed drivers are welcome to apply with upskilling available.

Start times are between 14:00 - 21:59 for immediate starts in Barnsley.

Pay rates are as follows:

• PM Rates: £16.87 - £18.61
• Peak Rates (23rd Nov - 20th Dec): £18.87 - £20.61 per hour

Your time at work will involve depot delivery and collection work, trunking trailers between local and national RDC's. Drivers are required to work on all 7 days (Monday - Sunday) and must be flexible.

On occasion, you may be requested to:

• Drive a Class 2 (rigid) vehicle
• Double man runs (optional)
• Nights out (optional)

As an HGV 1 driver, you will ideally have:

• Newly passed drivers are encouraged to apply with upskilling available
• No more than 6 points
• Digi and DQC cards
• Class 1 and 2 qualified
• Experience using a Digi card and be able to record manual entries
