Job summary

Pertemps Maidstone is recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for a Robertsbridge, East Sussex-based client. This full-time role offers Monday to Friday work with early starts (06:00) and average shifts of 10-12 hours, with no weekend work.

You will be delivering and collecting goods, ensuring safety, compliance, and customer service. Required: valid HGV Class 1/ CE/ C+E license, Driver CPC, Digital Tachograph, and solid transport regulation knowledge.

HGV Class 1 Driver

We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for our client based in Robertsbridge, East Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing, full-time work with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule.

Location: Robertsbridge, East Sussex

Pay Rate: £17.05 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 starts, averaging 10-12 hour shifts, NO weekends

Contract: Ongoing full-time opportunity, or ad-hoc and flexible shifts to fit around your availability

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out deliveries and collections while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and customer service.

This role is ideal for an experienced Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, Category CE Driver, C+E Driver, HGV Driver, Trunking Driver, or General Haulage Driver looking for stable, long-term work.

HGV Class 1 Driver Key Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 1 (Category CE) vehicle
• Completing deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
• Providing excellent customer service at all delivery and collection points
• Representing the business professionally at customer sites
