Job summary

SRG Recruitment are seeking professional LGV 1 / C+E / HGV Class 1 drivers to work on film sets and production locations in the Oxford area. This is a unique opportunity to drive for a film and TV production company, transporting equipment, vehicles and props to various sets.

Typical shifts are PM or night, with 5/6 shifts per week available, including weekends. You will perform safe loading/unloading, vehicle checks, and maintain excellent customer service on site as part of the production

Qualifications

• Full LGV 1 / HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for at least 1 year.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No DD/DR/CD/DG/IN endorsements.
• Experience driving Class 1 HGV/LGV 1.
• Good knowledge of UK roads and geography.
• Awareness of WTD and drivers' hours rules.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Flexibility for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Transporting film production equipment to film sets and locations.
• Loading, unloading and securing equipment safely.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting defects.
• Working with production and transport crews on site.
• Providing on-site customer service.

CLASS 1 HGV DRIVER - FILM SET WORK - OXFORD
SRG Recruitment are seeking professional LGV 1 / C+E / HGV Class 1 Drivers who are looking for a new and exciting challenge working for a film set and production company based in the Oxford area. This is a job out of the ordinary and a fantastic opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking to get involved in something different from standard HGV driving work.
You will be responsible for transporting film production equipment, vehicles, props and other essential items to and from film sets and production locations. You could be working on some of the biggest and most popular film and TV productions, making this a unique opportunity for drivers who enjoy varied work and meeting different people.
Start times are generally PM or nights, however, this client operates 24/7, so flexibility is essential. You may be required to work a mixture of days, evenings, nights and weekends depending on production schedules and requirements.
The role will involve safe and professional Class 1 HGV driving, loading and unloading equipment, completing vehicle checks, ensuring loads are secure and delivered safely, and working closely with the production and transport teams on site. Due to the nature of the role, excellent customer service and communication skills are important.

Requirements & Role
