Job summary

Culina, the UK’s leading independent specialist supply chain partner, is hiring Class 1 Drivers for Great Bear Mansfield on a full-time permanent basis. Shifts are any 5 from 7 between 02:00 and 07:00 starts, with salary of £15.36 per hour.

You will ensure accurate paperwork, follow safety procedures, perform daily vehicle checks, and deliver to customer premises. Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience and knowledge of Road Transport Directive/drivers’ hours are required.

Job Description

We are now looking forClass 1 Driversto join our Team atGreat Bear Mansfieldon aFull time and permanent position.

Shift:The roles are full time, working on a permanent basis and we have a variety of shift patterns available working any 5 from 7 days (between 02:00 - 07:00 starts).

Salary:£15.36 per hour.

• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
• Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
• Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
• Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum of recent Class 1 Driver - 1 year is essential for this position.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
