Job summary

Burch Recruitment Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Class 2 Driver for a reliable, steady role. You will shunt goods and transport products between depots on a Manchester-based network, with routes mainly around Manchester and occasional longer trips.

Hours are 8:30am–5:00pm, on a 6-day rota where you work only on scheduled days. Pay is £15 per hour, with vehicle provided and weekly payments after the initial holdback. Join a friendly, professional team committed to consistent work.

Qualifications

• Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence and CPC required.
• Reliable, can-do attitude and punctuality.
• Experience with shunting and depot-to-depot transport desirable.

Responsibilities

• Shunt goods and transport between depots in the Manchester area.
• Follow a fair rota and work on scheduled days only.
• Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle and maintain vehicle presentation.

Job description

Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a fresh opportunity with competitive pay and consistent work?

We are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 2 Drivers to join our team in Manchester.

You will be responsible for shunting goods and transporting products between depots. Routes are currently based around Manchester, with the potential for longer-distance routes depending on operational requirements.

8:30am - 5:00pm

You'll be driving a branded 7.5 tonne vehicle and supported by a well-organised and fair rota system.

This is a 6-day operation, but you will only work on your scheduled days as part of the rota.

• Weekly payments following an initial two-week holdback – payment for work completed will be issued two weeks in arrears. After the initial two-week period, payments will continue weekly, maintaining the two-week delay.
