Job summary

PS LTD is recruiting for Class 1 Day Drivers in Derbyshire. You will drive HGV Class 1 on a Monday–Friday schedule, with shifts between 05:00 and 07:00 and 10–13 hours per day. The role involves trunking to RDCs and distribution centres, with Amazon and Argos contracts.

Starting pay is £18/hour on weekdays and £21/hour on Saturdays. Induction is required; new drivers are welcomed with PPE provided and CPC/digi card expected.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 license
• Digi card and CPC card required
• Personal protective equipment (Hi-vis, safety boots)
• Induction attendance is required
• No DD or DR convictions allowed

Responsibilities

• Deliver for Amazon and Argos contracts
• Operate Monday to Friday trunking routes
• May involve trailer swaps to RDCs/Distribution Centres
• Open/close curtains on trailers when needed

Job description

PS LTD are currently recruiting for Class 1 Day Drivers for our Blue chip client based in Derby, Derbyshire.

HGV Class 1 day drivers working Monday to Friday doing nationwide Trunking work. Work involves trailer swap work to RDC'S and Distribution Centres , working with box and curtainsider trailers, no handball but you may be required to open and close the curtains.

You will be delivering on behalf of the Amazon and Argos contract and as such are expected to be professional whilst working on this contract.

Work is Monday to Friday,

Start times between 05:00 and 07:00 and shifts lasting 10 to 13 hours a day. Approx 55-60 Hours per week on average.

Monday to Friday - £18 per hour

Saturday- £21 per hour

Applicants must be available for an induction and if successful will be required to work straight after this. We are also recruiting tramper drivers too please let us know

WE ARE ACCEPTING NEW PASS DRIVERS however no DD OR DR Convictions.

You must have a valid Hgv class 1 license and a digi and cpc card, As well as the correct PPE (Hi-vis and safety boots)
