Job summary

Rapier Employment is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for a long‑term temporary contract at a busy client in Knottingley and Ferrybridge. The role is full‑time with competitive pay and overtime. Pay starts at £19.18 per hour with overtime after 8 hours (£28.77) and weekend overtime (£22.66).

Shifts run Thursday to Monday or Friday to Tuesday, starting between 15:00 and 21:00, including night coverage. Responsibilities include trunking to RDCs and vehicle checks.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV C+E licence for at least six months.
• No more than six penalty points.
• Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification.
• No DR10, CD10, or IN10 endorsements.
• Proactive approach and "Can do" attitude.
