Job summary

Stobart, part of the Culina Group, invites applications for a HGV Class 1 Driver at the Goole Distribution Centre. This permanent, full-time role offers day and night shifts with competitive pay and progression opportunities across Culina.

Earn up to £18.65 per hour on weekends, with weekday rates of £15.15 (days) and £16.35 (nights). Benefits include meal allowance, uniform, DCPC training, life assurance, and more.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid C+E Licence and ideally have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience (New Pass Drivers considered).
• No more than 6 points and no DD/DR convictions.
• Hold a current valid DCPC & Tachograph cards.
• Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation.
• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly.
• Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to stores and distribution centres across the region.
• Adhere to Driver's hours and WTD regulations and complete daily checks.
• Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and report defects.
• Maintain safe driving standards and on-site safety compliance.

Join Stobart at our Goole Distribution Centre, delivering to a variety of store formats and distribution centres across the region. Shift Patterns Available

We offer a range of fixed shift patterns, all of which include at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as part of the working week:

• Sunday to Thursday
• Tuesday to Saturday
• Thursday to Monday
• Friday to Tuesday

Shift Start Times

Days

Start times between 06:00 and 09:00

Nights

Start times between 15:00 and 22:00

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday Days: £15.15 per hour
• Monday to Friday Nights: £16.35 per hour
• Saturday & Sunday Days: £18.15 per hour
• Saturday & Sunday Nights: £18.65 per hour
