Job summary

M4 Recruitment is recruiting HGV Class 1 (CE) Drivers for a new site in the South-East of the UK. You’ll deliver across the region with Driver’s Mate support, focusing on safe, efficient and professional driving.

With 45 guaranteed hours per week, regular overtime and a choice of start windows, this contract offers a consistent schedule, paid induction, paid breaks, and a supportive team environment. Weekly shifts typically 10–12 hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 (CE) licence.
• At least 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points, with SP/TS endorsements only.
• Knowledge of Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries across the South-East, including London.
• Operate with a Driver’s Mate support and drive safely, efficiently and professionally.
• Work 4–5 shifts per week with average shifts of 10–12 hours.
• Adhere to a fixed 5-out-of-7 rota and flexible start windows.
