Job summary

Top Tier Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers (C+E) for ongoing work with a transport and logistics client in the UK. Roles include Curtainsider driving, left-hand drive vehicles, and regular 10-hour shifts starting at 06:00.

Nights out and tramp opportunities may arise. Applicants should hold a UK HGV Class 1/C+E licence, Driver CPC, and a Digital Tachograph Card, with prior Class 1 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 / C+E vehicles
• Carry out curtainsider driving tasks
• Drive left-hand drive vehicles when required
• Start at 06:00 and work ~10-hour shifts
• Complete scheduled collections and deliveries
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and paperwork
• Be flexible to tramp and undertake nights out when required
• Maintain regular communication with transport team

Top Tier Recruitment is currently recruiting experiencedHGV Class 1 Drivers (C+E)for ongoing work with an established transport and logistics client.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable Class 1 drivers looking for consistent work, with approximately 10-hour shifts and additional tramping opportunities available.

The vehicles used areleft-hand drive (LHD). Previous LHD experience would be beneficial butis not essential. Experienced Class 1 drivers who are confident adapting to a left-hand drive vehicle are encouraged to apply.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

• Class 1 / C+E driving

• Curtainsider work

• Driving left-hand drive vehicles

• 06:00 starts

• Approximately 10-hour shifts

• Scheduled collections and deliveries

• Daily vehicle checks

• Completing relevant driver paperwork

• Some tramping and nights out when required

• Regular communication with the transport team

What We're Looking For

To be considered, you will need:

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 / Category C+E licence

• Valid Driver CPC

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Previous Class 1 driving experience

• Curtainsider experience preferred

• Left-hand drive experience beneficial but not essential

• Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations

• Good communication skills

• Professional and reliable approach

• Flexibility to tramp when required
