The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Southampton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team

Roles

• HGV Class 1 - Days
• HGV Class 1 - Nights

Hours

• Class 1 Days - Across Sunday to Saturday - 07:00am - 10:00am
• Class 1 Nights - Across Sunday to Friday (Sunday and Fridays required) - 20:00pm -03:00am starts
• Please note drivers must be available to work weekends within their availability*

Pay Rate

• Class 1 Days: £16.50 per hour PAYE
• Class 1 Nights: £18.50 per hour PAYE

The Role

• Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
• Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle.
• Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence for the relevant licence.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience on the relevant vehicle required
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
