Job summary

Driver Require in Dunstable is seeking professional and dependable HGV Class 1 drivers for ongoing, full-time work with one of our prestigious clients. You'll be part of a two-person crew delivering cages and totes to store locations overnight and early mornings.

Shifts run Friday to Monday with guaranteed 10 hours per shift, regular overtime at enhanced rates, and paid breaks. New drivers with at least 1 year of Class 1 experience and a licence with no more than 6 points are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• New HGV Class 1 drivers with minimum of 1 year experience.
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence with no more than 6 points (no major endorsements).
• Flexible and reliable.
• Strong understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time regulations.
• Ability to pass an assessment and induction (fully paid once passed).

Responsibilities

• Deliver cages and totes to store locations overnight and early mornings.
• Work as part of a two-person crew with a driver’s mate.
• Friday to Monday shift pattern with guaranteed 10 hours per shift.
• Overtime paid after 10 hours and paid breaks included.

Pay Rates

• Days: £21.28 p/h PAYE+ (Holiday Pay to be added)
• Nights: £23.00 p/h PAYE+ (Holiday Pay to be added)
• Overtime (after 10 hours): £24.73 p/hPAYE + (Holiday Pay to be added)
• Saturday: £24.73 p/h PAYE + (Holiday pay to be added)
• Sundays: £25.88 p/h PAYE + (Holiday Pay to be added)
