Job summary

CTRG is actively seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the Crewe team for ongoing, trunking or store work. Location is Crewe, England, with immediate starts available and competitive hourly pay.

Applicants must hold a valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence with at least two years of experience, a DCPC qualification card, and a Digital Tachograph. You will need to understand drivers hours and WTD legislation and perform vehicle checks as required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK C+E (Class 1) licence with at least 2 years of Class 1 driving experience.
• DCPC qualification card and digital tachograph knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 for trunking or store work.
• Adhere to drivers’ hours and WTD legislation.
• Carry out vehicle checks and report defects as required.
• Maintain a safe and timely delivery schedule.

Pay Rate: up to £32.04 per hour

Job Type: Ongoingwork, Weekly bookings, Trunking work or Store work.

Shifts:

Various shift patterns available including Monday to Friday.

About You:

• Valid UK C+E (Class 1) Licence with Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience required

• Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
• Excellent communication skills with a flexible, can-do attitude
