Job summary

Kinaxia Logistics & Fulfilment in Stalybridge is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy, growing team. You will deliver goods safely, maintain high customer service, and adhere to regulations.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, report delays, follow procedures, and complete deliveries and collections per manifests while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• LGV C+E Licence (Class 1) with valid Driver CPC/DQC
• Digital Tachograph Card holder
• Strong customer service and safety focus

Responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy
• Arrive on time for all duties and communicate delays to Traffic Office
• Follow procedures and Highway Code; maintain health and safety standards
• Complete deliveries and collections as specified on manifests
• Comply with Tachograph and WTD regulations
• Keep vehicle clean and presentable

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and professional delivery of goods while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to operate
• Arrive on time for all scheduled duties and communicate any delays or issues to the Traffic Office
• Follow company procedures, customer requirements and the Highway Code at all timesMaintain high standards of health and safety
• Complete all deliveries and collections as specified on manifests
• Comply with EU Tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
• Keep your vehicle clean, tidy and presentable

What We're Looking For
