Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) is recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers to cover August and September in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells area. Multidrop deliveries of palletised freight to commercial and residential customers, with tail lifts and electric pump trucks used as required.

Role requires a valid HGV licence, Driver CPC, tachograph card, and at least 2 years of HGV experience; we offer day and night shifts, weekly pay, and ongoing support from the Manpower team.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous multidrop delivery experience.
• Experience using tail lifts and pump trucks.
• Be over 25 years old with at least 2 years HGV experience.
• Strong understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised freight to commercial and residential locations
• Complete multidrop delivery routes efficiently and safely
• Operate tail lifts and electric pump trucks
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Ensure deliveries comply with company and DVSA regulations
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
• Accurately complete delivery documentation and use handheld devices

Location: Tonbridge / Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Pay Rate: £17.50 - £20.50 per hour (depending on licence class and shift pattern)

Contract: Fixed-Term Temporary Assignment (August & September)

Shifts Available: Days and Nights

About the Role

Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a leading transport and logistics provider in Kent. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers to support increased demand during August and September.

This is a multidrop delivery role involving the transportation of palletised freight to both commercial and residential customers across the region.

Drivers must be comfortable completing deliveries using tail lifts and electric pump trucks where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver palletised freight to commercial and residential locations
• Complete multidrop delivery routes efficiently and safely
• Operate tail lifts and electric pump trucks
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
• Ensure all deliveries are completed in line with company and DVSA regulations
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
• Accurately complete delivery documentation and use handheld devices where required

Requirements
