Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting for HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to operate from Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. This part-time role offers flexible days with early morning to evening shifts, including weekends, and involves 1-2 deliveries and pallet handling with forklift support.

You'll receive weekly PAYE payments, 28 days paid leave (pro‑rata), pension contributions, online payslips, and a supportive team in a friendly working environment.

Qualifications

• Active Class 1 (C+E) licence with entitlement.
• CPC Card valid.
• Digital Tachograph Card valid.
• Willing to work day and night shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform 1-2 deliveries per shift, within the Midlands.
• Handle pallet deliveries with forklift where required.
• Shifts available Monday to Sunday; no heavy lifting as pallets are forklifted.

Job Type: Part time / Flexible Days

Shift Pattern

• Day & Nights Shifts Available
• Shifts Available - Monday to Sunday
• Day Start Times - 06:00 to 09:00
• Nights Start Times - 18:00 to 23:00
• Shift Length - 8 to 9 Hours

Position Overview

We are looking for Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work with our client based in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. This role involves:

• 1-2 Deliveries, either 1 distance delivery or 2 within the Midlands
• Pallet deliveries
• No heavy lifting, stock is fork lifted off
• Shifts available Monday to Sunday

Pay Rates

• Class 1 Driver Days - £16.00 per hour
• Class 1 Driver Nights - £18.00 per hour
