Job summary

Surecall Recruitment is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver for Bedford and surrounding areas. The role focuses on trunking and multi-drop routes from a Northampton depot, ensuring loads are transported securely between retail stores and depots.

Shifts are flexible with Monday to Friday and weekend options. Earn £20.16 to £25.76 per hour including holiday pay, with minimum 8-hour shift payments guaranteed. Northampton/Daventry area coverage.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 license, CPC card and Tachograph card required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean driving record (max 6 points, no major endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Deliver loads on trunk routes between retail stores and depots.
• Prioritise safety and secure loads during transit.
• Operate mainly trunk routes with flexibility for shifts.
• Utilise driving experience in a dynamic haulage environment.
