Job summary

Blue Arrow is currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Day and Night Trunk Drivers for ongoing ad hoc work in Gateshead. This role offers flexible night shifts with regular week-round work and weekend availability for experienced drivers.

Key duties include night trunking and day trunking, depot-to-depot deliveries with minimal handball, start times around 18:00–19:00 or 06:00–07:00, and 11–12 hour shifts. Weekly pay and supportive recruitment support provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude.
• Previous Class 1 experience preferred.

We're currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Day and Night Trunk Drivers for ongoing ad hoc work based in Gateshead.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for flexible night shifts with regular work available throughout the week and weekends.

The Role

• Night trunking work
• Start times between 18:00 and 19:00
• 11 to 12-hour shifts
• Day trunking work
• Start times between 0600:-07:00
• Depot-to-depot deliveries with minimal handball
• Ongoing ad hoc assignments
• Weekday and weekend shifts available

Pay Rates

• £17.25 per hour - Weekdays (nights)
• £20 per hour - Weekends (nights)
• £18.50 per hour after 12 weeks - Weekdays (nights)
• £20.00 per hour after 12 weeks - Weekends (nights
• £14.50 per hour - Weekdays (days)
• £17.25 per hour - Weekends (days)
• £15.75 per hour after 12 weeks - Weekdays (days)
• £18.50 per hour after 12 weeks - Weekends (days)

Requirements
