Facilities by ADF invites applications for a HGV / C+E (Class 1) Driver (Casual) based in Longcross, Surrey. The role offers casual contracts with variable workload, minimal tramping, and a fixed start/finish location.

You will handle sensitive equipment, work as part of a team, and help set up on set while following safety protocols. Ideal candidates hold a full UK driving licence with ≤6 points, a DQC and Digi-Card, a flexible approach to shifts, and a customer-focused, reliable attitude.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with 6 or fewer points.
• Current Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digi-Card.
• Flexible with shifts, team player and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Safely carry sensitive, expensive equipment in LGV Class One vehicles.
• Work with crew to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Assist base staff with setting up equipment on set.
• Follow Health & Safety protocols at all times.

Facilities by ADF have an exciting opportunity for HGV / C+E (Class 1) Driver (Casual) to join their growing team.

Facilities by ADF provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for TV dramas and major features. Our fleet includes artiste trailers and departmental trucks for costume, make-up, and production, as well as diners and honey wagons.

HGV / C+E (Class 1) Driver (casual)– The role:

The position offers varies work with minimal tramping and there will be a fixed start and finish location.

Duties include:

• The safe carrying of sensitive and often expensive equipment in LGV Class One vehicles.
• Working as part of a team and communicating with the relevant crew to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Assist the Base Staff with the setting up of equipment on set.
• Demonstrate good awareness of Health & Safety protocols.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Have a full UK Driving License (or equivalent) with 6 or less points
• Current Driving Qualification Card (DQC) and Driver Digi-Card
• Professional and positive attitude
• Flexibility (shifts often start late afternoon/evening, seven days a week)
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Punctual

*Experience in the TV and Film industry is not necessary as training will be provided*
