Job summary

JT Recruit Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper Driver to join our team based in South Normanton, Alfreton (DE55). This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional and reliable driver looking for regular, well-paid work with a straightforward operation.

The role involves HGV Class 1 ADR tramping with regular routes between South Wales and Manchester/Bradford, full-load work, typically 1–2 delivery points per day, and night-out Monday to Friday as required.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 ADR Tramper driving experience in UK transport.
• ADR qualification and Driver CPC/Driver Card required.
• C+E (Class 1) licence and right to work in the UK are essential.
• Less than 6 penalty points on licence and minimum 1 year proven HGV experience.
• Good knowledge of UK roads; professional, reliable attitude; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

The Role

• HGV Class 1 ADR tramping work
• Regular routes between South Wales and Manchester/Bradford
• Full-load work
• Typically 1–2 delivery points per day, depending on the area
• Night-out Monday to Friday as required
• £20.00 per hour
• £25.00 night-out allowance
• Professional, safety-focused driving at all times

To be considered for this position, you must have:

C+E (Class 1) Driving Licence – required

• ADR qualification – required
• Driver CPC / Driver Card – required
• Right to work in the UK – required
• Less than 6 penalty points on your licence
• Minimum 1 year's proven commercial HGV driving experience
• Good knowledge of UK roads
• A professional, reliable and responsible attitude
• Excellent understanding of the English languae.
