Job summary

First Choice Staff in the United Kingdom is seeking HGV/Class 2 drivers for a market-leading waste management client based near Crawley, covering Sussex and the South East.

We offer Day shifts 06:00–18:00 and Night shifts 18:00–06:00 with Monday–Sunday coverage. Rates are £18.00 per hour by day and £19.00 per hour at night; applicants must have Cat C licence, CPC and Tachograph card, and a licence with no more than 3 points.

Qualifications

• Must hold Full Cat C (Class 2) licence.
• Must have CPC & Tachograph card.
• Licence with no more than 3 points.
• Physically able to perform heavy lifting if required.
• Excellent communication and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Drive day shifts 0600–1800 or night shifts 1800–0600.
• Cover shifts across Monday to Sunday as required.
• Maintain safety, compliance and vehicle standards per DVSA rules.

We are currently looking for HGV/Class 2 drivers for our client who is a market leader within the Waste Management Industry.This will be based at Crawley and will cover Sussex and the South East. Ongoing Temporary work with very long shifts

Essential Skills:

• Full Cat C ( Class 2 ) Licence
• Valid CPC & Tachograph Card
• No more than 3 points
• Physically fit as some heavy lifting involved
• Excellent communication skills
• Safe and responsible

To comply with Drivers Negligence insurance, the successful applicant will need to be 25years or older, have at least 180 days driving experience in this class of vehicle in the last 2 years

We are looking for Day drivers working 0600-1800 and Night drivers working 1800-0600, covering different shift patterns from Monday - Sunday.

Rates are £18.00 on Days / £19.00 on Nights.
