Job summary

A recruitment agency in Bridgwater is seeking reliable HGV 2 Drivers for recycling and household collections. The role is Monday to Friday, paying £16.00 per hour. Successful candidates will operate lorries efficiently, perform pre-trip inspections, and communicate with dispatchers to ensure timely collections. Previous experience in commercial driving and a valid HGV licence are essential. This is a temp to perm position with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

  • Deliver products to designated locations, following scheduled routes and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and customer service.
