Job summary

Omnia Resourcing Ltd near Rochester is recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers, welcoming new passes and experienced drivers with full training and immediate starts.

The role involves light to heavy deliveries in a two-person team, starting between 04:00–05:00, with a guaranteed 48 hours per week and weekends off. Base pay £18.25/hr for 48 hrs (£876/wk) plus a £5,200 bonus and extra overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with max 6 points and no DR/DD/IN10 endorsements.
• CPC qualification and Digital Tacho card required.
• Strong commitment to health and safety procedures.
• Willingness to undergo CRC check and drug/alcohol testing.

We're currently recruiting both newly qualified and experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for a well-established client based near Rochester. Full training is provided, with immediate starts available.

Role overview

Start times between 04:00-05:00

48 hours per week paid minimum

Typically 5-8 deliveries per shift

Key responsibilities

• Working as part of a 2-person delivery team alongside an experienced driver's mate
• Ensuring safe and professional driving at all times
• Delivering goods directly to customers' homes
• Handling heavy items as part of the role

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence or higher (maximum 6 points; no DR, DD, IN10 endorsements)
• CPC qualification and Digital Tacho card
• Strong commitment to health & safety procedures
• Willingness to undergo a CRC check, plus drug and alcohol test

Pay & benefits

• Weekday rate: £18.25 per hour x 48 hrs = £876 per week + bonus
• Quarterly bonus of £1,300
• Overtime (6th shift): £27.37 per hour
• Permanent salary £45,552 + £5200 bonus.
