Job summary

Wilson Recruitment Ltd is hiring a Night Shift HGV (C + E) Driver based in Marston Gate, Bedford, with start times between 02:00 and 04:00. You will deliver and collect for Wolseley branches and backhaul locations, and access each location as required.

Role includes opening/closing branches, loading/unloading, and setting alarms. Requirements: Class 1 Licence, CPC card, Digital Tachograph Card. Full-time, 45 hours/week, Monday to Friday nights; Friday afternoons and Saturdays off.

Qualifications

• Night shift driving experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Class 1 Licence and CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.

As a Night Shift HGV (C + E) Driver based in Marston Gate, Bedford 02:00 - 04:00 Start Times

You'll be responsible for:

• Providing a delivery & collection solution to all Wolseley Branches & Backhaul locations.
• Accessing each location making the delivery into each branch location as and when required
• Responsible for opening and closing branches, key responsibility, loading, unloading, and setting alarms

And here is what wed like you to have:

• Class 1 Licence
• CPC card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• If you have previously worked nights, it would be advantageous but not essential

This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 45 hours per week. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday night, starting between 02:00 - 04:00 each day (subject to change based on work demands). You will have Friday afternoons and Saturdays off.
