Job summary

Omnia Resourcing is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for a well-established logistics company in the Manchester area near Salford. The role offers 48 hours per week with night shifts and overtime opportunities. Training is provided, plus private health insurance and a refer-a-friend bonus.

New Pass welcome; candidates must hold a valid HGV Class 1 license, CPC and tachograph card, and be willing to pass drug/alcohol tests. Excellent long-term prospects with a stable schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DR, DD or IN10 convictions.
• Current Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Willing to pass drug and alcohol test.
• Criminal Record Check (CRC) required.

Responsibilities

• Trunking deliveries to a regional depot and returning with a loaded trailer.
• Each run typically takes around 6 hours.
• On return to the depot, assist with light yard duties to prepare vehicles/trailers for the next shift.
• Typical shift: 7:00pm – 5:00am.
• Monday to Friday – weekends off.

We're recruiting HGV Class 1 (Wagon & Drag) Drivers for a well-established logistics company based in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced drivers, with full training provided.

The Role

• Trunking deliveries to a regional depot and returning with a loaded trailer.
• Each run typically takes around 6 hours.
• On return to the depot, you'll assist with light yard duties to prepare vehicles and trailers for the next shift.
• Typical shift: 7:00pm – 5:00am
• Monday to Friday – enjoy your weekends off!

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) manual licence.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No DR, DD or IN10 convictions.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• A commitment to health and safety.
• Willing to undergo a Drug & Alcohol test and Criminal Record Check (CRC).
• £17.75 per hour x 48 hours per week = £852 min per week + bonus
• Overtime paid at £26.62 per hour for a sixth shift
