Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for our Basildon client, offering ongoing, year-round work with a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per shift on fixed shifts. Shifts run Friday to Monday with start times from 05:00, 10:00, or 17:00, including weekends in a fixed rota.

Rates vary by time of day: mornings £19.30, days £20.02, nights £20.76 per hour, with overtime and bank holiday premiums applicable. Vehicles must be checked before and after trips and deliveries completed across the South

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• Maximum of 6 points on licence (no DR, DD, IN, or TT offences).

Responsibilities

• Delivering retail items to stores across the South East.
• Ensuring delivery schedules are met.
• Carrying out pre- and post-trip vehicle checks.
• Some collections may be required.
• Shifts available 7 days a week with start times to suit you.
• Part-time drivers welcome.

Long-Term, Regular Work | Fixed Shifts Friday to Monday

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for our client based in Basildon, offering ongoing, year-round work with excellent pay rates and a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per shift mid week and 10 hours on weekends only on Fixed Shift Rota.

Start Band Fixed Shifts Available below:

• 05:00 - 08:00
• 10:00 - 13:00
• 17:00 - 20:00

PAYE Parity Pay Rates

• Mornings (04:00-09:59): £19.30 per hour
• Days (10:00-17:59): £20.02 per hour
• Nights (18:00-03:59): £20.76 per hour
• Overtime (after 45 hours per week):
• Mornings: £24.13 per hour
• Days: £25.03 per hour
• Nights: £25.95 per hour
• Bank Holidays:
• Mornings: £28.95 per hour
• Days: £30.03 per hour
• Nights: £31.14 per hour

Your Time at Work
