A cultural heritage organization is looking for a part-time Heritage Project Officer in London. This role involves supporting outreach activities related to the Brass Band Archive, managing events and exhibitions, and collaborating with project partners. Ideal candidates will have experience in arts project management and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Candidates should be prepared for flexible hours and occasional travel.
This fixed-term opportunity is ideal for a candidate with some experience working on arts and culture or heritage projects. You’ll work closely with our Heritage Programme Manager and Archivist on an exciting and engaging programme of outreach activities, consultation events and exhibitions to bring The Brass Bands Archive to life.
This is a part-time, fixed-term position (17.5 hours per week, 0.5 FTE) until December 2026. There is a preference for the successful candidate to work on Mondays and/or Thursdays to align with other members of the project team, but this is flexible. The location is flexible, with office space available at the organisation’s headquarters in Barnsley. Remote or hybrid working arrangements are also suitable. Some travel across the country will be required to support event delivery.
