As we continue to develop plans, we’re looking for a Heritage Project Coordinator to join our team and help make it happen. Key Tasks
  • Provide general administrative and financial support to the Heritage Steering Group
  • Arrange Heritage Steering Group meetings and lead on the timely preparation and distribution of agendas and papers for them as well as other internal HTH meetings.
  • Work with the PCC Treasurer to ensure good financial administration of the project and reporting to funders.
  • Process all invoices for payment securing relevant levels of sign off.
  • Draft NLHF grant drawdown / claim forms on a monthly basis, as required.
  • Carefully and logically file all information in relation to the project on HTH’s system.
  • Attend Heritage Steering Group meetings and other meetings, as might reasonably be required keeping an accurate log of actions and decisions.
  • Work alongside the other project consultants to fully understand the heritage aspects of the project in order to be able to pass on skills and knowledge to the Heritage Engagement Officer and Volunteer Coordinator
  • Continue develop partnerships and be the main partnership contact for the Delivery Phase
  • Make connections with the current group of volunteers, ensure they are all kept fully informed about the project and recruit additional volunteers.
  • To keep a record of volunteer hours contributed to the project.
  • Assist the HTH team in the organisation and delivery of other meetings and events, for example stakeholder meetings, public meetings and open days.
  • Assist HTH in the procurement of professional services (where this is not explicitly within the remit of the Project Manager), for example legal or insurance services.
  • Help with other such activities as necessary for:
    • promoting the project.
    • engaging with the HTH PCC, staff, congregation, volunteers, partners, stakeholders and members of the public.
    • gathering feedback as the Heritage Steering Group and PCC require.
  • Support the HTH team in marketing and communications by press releases, website and social media channels, including management of mailing lists, update the website diary and events pages, and write scheduled social media posts. Make sure that NLHF is acknowledged on all communications.
  • Provide such other assistance to HTH in relation to the project as might reasonably be required.
  • Uphold at all times HTH’s policies and practices, including in relation to data protection legislation and equality, diversity and inclusion.
