Job summary

The University of Edinburgh invites applications for a Heritage Collections Digitisation Photographer. The role focuses on high-quality digitisation of the library’s heritage collections, using medium format cameras to create preservation-ready images that support teaching, learning and research.

This part-time, permanent post is grade UE05 at £29,588–£33,951 pro rata, with a competitive salary and benefits. The University supports flexible working patterns and professional development.

As a Heritage Collections Digitisation Photographer, you will be responsible for the high-quality digitisation of the library’s heritage collections, using a range of photographic equipment including medium format cameras to create images for preservation and access. This work directly supports our strategic objective to increase access to and use of our world-class collections in teaching, learning and research.
