A community support organization in Herefordshire is looking for an Outreach Officer to connect with veterans and their families. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience in partnership working. Contract: Fixed Term Contract until July 2027
Location: Hybrid, in the community and Widemarsh Street Support Centre
Hours: 37 hours
Salary: 07HC £32,061 - £36,363 pro rata funded by the Veterans Foundation & The National Lottery Community Fund

The Herefordshire Veteran Support Centre (HVSC) is looking for a compassionate and proactive Outreach Worker to help us connect with veterans and their families across the county — especially those who may be vulnerable, marginalised, or hard to reach. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in strengthening the local armed forces community by identifying needs, building trust, and ensuring that veterans receive the support and recognition they deserve. The Outreach Officer role involves working primarily within the community, with some on-site presence required at the centre.
