A prominent health organization in Cardiff is seeking a Hepatology Advanced Nurse Practitioner to lead the Hepatology nursing team and ensure evidence-based care for liver disease patients. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Hepatology team at C&V UHB as a Hepatology Advanced Nurse Practitioner. The post holder will have a high clinical profile providing the highest standard of evidence-based care for patients with liver disease including advanced clinical practice, clinical audit, education and research.
The post holder will demonstrate advanced practical and theoretical knowledge of liver disease, acting as an autonomous clinical practitioner, prescribing, ordering investigations and developing pathways of care for patients with liver disease including referrals to other specialities and discharge plan according to C&V UHB policy. Working as an autonomous practitioner, the post holder will provide both an in/out and day case patient service including paracentesis.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for the management of the Hepatology/BBV/HCC CNS's.
