We have an exciting opportunity for a Hep C Specialist Worker to join our team in Manchester. This is a specialist role for someone with the skills, knowledge and passion to lead on Hepatitis C interventions supporting service users through testing, treatment and recovery while also helping to develop workforce confidence and service-wide approaches to BBV prevention and care.

Location: Manchester

Full Time Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary Range: 27,861.26 – 32,002.35 (based on full‑time hours pro rata for part‑time)

Contract: Full time permanent

Note: Full‑time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part‑time roles the salary and payments will be pro‑rata based on contracted hours.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on Hepatitis C interventions across the service using a whole‑system harm reduction approach.
  • Identify and support service users at risk of BBVs, offering screening, harm reduction advice and pathways into treatment.
  • Support workforce development by building knowledge and confidence in BBV testing and treatment among staff and volunteers.
  • Collect and analyse data to support surveillance and service improvement.
  • Contribute to innovative models of Hep C care that reflect local needs and diversity.
  • Promote awareness through events and campaigns such as World Hepatitis Day.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated person‑centred care.
