Job summary

A global pharmaceutical recruitment agency is seeking an HEOR Scientist to support Pneumococcal Vaccines on a remote basis. The role involves designing and executing RWE studies, ensuring compliance, and advising stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in health economics or related fields along with experience in the pharmaceutical industry. This is a temporary contract role expected to last for 9 months with competitive daily rates.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within a multinational setting.
  • Experience with RWE study designs and HTA/reimbursement evidence generation.
  • Experience with Pneumococcal Vaccines or Immunology is a major advantage.

HEOR Scientist - Pneumococcal Vaccines

Location: Remote
Contract Type: Temporary
Rate: £(Apply online only) per day approx. (Umbrella)

SRG are supporting a leading global pharmaceutical company with their search for an HEOR Scientist supporting Pneumococcal Vaccines. This will be an initial 9 month contract and the role is predominantly remote based. Reporting to the Global RWE & Health Outcomes Research Lead, you'll play a key role in designing and delivering impactful real‑world evidence (RWE) studies that inform strategic decisions and support global market access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute multiple RWE studies, managing timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
  • Ensure quality and compliance across study documentation including protocols, analysis plans, and publications.
  • Translate strategic evidence needs into innovative study concepts and protocols.
  • Advise internal and external stakeholders on scientific design and data sources.
  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships across medical, market access, and commercial teams.
  • Engage with external thought leaders to ensure robust and credible research approaches.
Requirements & Experience
  • MSc or equivalent in health economics, epidemiology, pharmacy, or life sciences.
  • 1-3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within a multinational setting.
  • Proven ability to manage projects and budgets in a matrix environment.
  • Experience with RWE study designs and HTA/reimbursement evidence generation.
  • Experience with Pneumococcal Vaccines would be a major advantage - Vaccines in general or Immunology also useful experience.
  • Strong communication skills to translate complex data for diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of global healthcare systems and payer decision-making processes.
  • Preferred: PhD/PharmD, launch experience, and direct payer engagement.
