Qualifications

  • Proven track record in a comparable maintenance role.
  • Ability to strip down and rebuild hydraulic and mechanical components.
  • Able to understand and interpret technical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of diesel engine maintenance.
  • IT literate with CMMS usage.
  • Valid driving license.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns on heavy plant and equipment.
  • Respond rapidly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
  • Maintain machinery to company standards and safety guidelines.
  • Comply with all machine operating systems.
  • Keep accurate records of machinery on site.
  • Complete and maintain all CMMS documentation.
  • Provide written or verbal reports to line managers.
  • Attend progress meetings as required.
  • Carry out additional duties as reasonably requested.
  • Comply with Company policies and Employee Handbook.
