HGV Technician

Location: Scunthorpe

Salary/Bonuses: £42,000 - £44,000 + Overtime Available

The Role
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair HGVs, trailers, and associated equipment.
  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and component replacements.
  • Conduct MOT preparation, brake testing, and roadworthiness checks.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.
  • Complete accurate service documentation and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working environment at all times.
  • Work a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern (days and nights - 12 hours).
The Candidate
  • Time-served or NVQ Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
  • Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Fitter, or Mechanic.
  • Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and fault-finding abilities.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a professional team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (HGV Class 1 or 2 beneficial but not essential).
