Job summary

Allen Recruitment is seeking a Heavy Lifting Design Engineer for a leading engineering design consultancy in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on conceptual and detailed design of permanent and temporary structures, including bridges, towers and complex systems.

You will work with engineers and CAD technicians to deliver innovative solutions and ensure successful project outcomes. The role emphasizes experience in steel design, Eurocode standards, and proficiency with FEA tools, along with

Qualifications

5-10 years post-graduate experience in the analysis and design of structures, particularly in steel.
Proficiency in finite element analysis software.
Strong IT skills, including Word, Excel and email.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Relevant site experience.
Good working knowledge of Eurocodes, EN 1993.
Positive and effective team player with an innovative mindset.

Responsibilities

Conceptual and detailed design of permanent and temporary structures, including construction engineering of bridges, tower systems and complex structures.
Collaborate with engineers and CAD technicians to develop innovative solutions and ensure project delivery.
Contribute to the successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
