Job summary

Mane Contract Services is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to service, maintain and repair a wide range of ground support equipment for airport operations. You will perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and ensure work meets safety standards.

You will need strong HGV experience, a Class 1 licence, City & Guilds in Motor Vehicle Engineering/Mechanics and the ability to obtain airside pass clearance. A team-based, safety-focused environment is offered with shift work.

Qualifications

• Strong HGV mechanical experience is essential.
• HGV Class 1 driving licence.
• City & Guilds qualification in Motor Vehicle Engineering, Motor Mechanics or an equivalent discipline.
• Five years of checkable employment history for airside pass clearance.
• Ability to pass the required CRC checks.
• Ability to obtain GSAT certification through the company’s in-house training programme.
• Experience working with GSE, commercial vehicles, heavy plant or similar equipment would be advantageous.
