Job summary

A leading heating manufacturer in St Albans is seeking a Heating Technician to service and troubleshoot domestic gas boilers and air source heat pumps. The role offers a base salary of up to £54k for 40 hours a week with door-to-door pay and flexible overtime. Candidates with a technical service background in gas boilers or ASHPs are preferred. This position provides opportunities for further training and development. A friendly character is essential as you will be representing a national brand in people's homes.

Qualifications

• Strong background in servicing, fault finding, and fixing gas boilers and/or ASHPs.
• Qualifications/certifications in plumbing and electrical work are ideal.
• Willingness to learn if coming from a Boiler Technician background.

Responsibilities

• Service and technically fix domestic boilers and ASHPs in homes.
• Plan daily jobs efficiently with necessary parts/tools delivered the evening before.
• Represent a national brand while working in customers' homes.

Heating Technician – Domestic gas boilers, unvented heating and heat pumps – service, maintenance, troubleshooting, remedial, break down and fault finding.

Role

Working directly for a recognised leading brand name Heating Manufacturer. You will cover a local region to you, servicing and technical fault finding and fixing of domestic boilers and ASHP's in peoples homes. This a new position due to increased investment in providing increased customer service and warranty cover. Daily jobs and routes are efficiently planned, with any extra parts or tools delivered the early evening before.

Candidate Experience

• Technical service heating service engineer with a strong background of servicing, fault finding and fixing of gas boilers and/or ASHP's.
• Plumbing and electrical experience ideally with qualifications / certifications.
• Friendly and outgoing character as you will be in peoples homes representing a national brand.
• Please still apply if you are a Boiler Technician but have no ASHP experience as training will be given along with industry certificates.
