Job description
Overview

We are seeking a Plumbing and Heating Engineer who will be home‑based and go to call‑outs on a daily basis. The general hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, although additional hours can be required.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out remedial and reactive works on behalf of our maintenance client on a daily basis.
  • Deal with project works, including heating and domestic service installations.
  • Be proficient in all aspects of plumbing, including screwed pipework fitting.
  • Fault‑find, diagnose issues, and report on what needs to be rectified.
  • Work either alone or as part of a two‑man team.
  • Use the Asset Pro live reporting system to ensure all jobs meet SLA terms and are reported.
  • Make recommendations where required.
  • Gain from call‑outs every four weeks to cover all reactive faults.
  • Attend Health and Safety training.
Qualifications
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • City and Guilds or NVQ level qualifications post‑apprenticeship.
  • Gas Safe registration preferred.
