Job summary

Cambria invites qualified Heating Engineers to join its heating service delivery team. The role covers gas and oil boiler installations, repairs, commissioning, servicing and testing across Wales. You will work with a skilled team on large projects and also handle routine service work independently.

Applicants must hold City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent and ACS CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CKR1, HTR1. Domestic boiler installations and compliant documentation are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified heating engineer with gas/oil boiler experience including installation, repair, commissioning, servicing and testing.
• Formal training with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent and ACS CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CKR1, HTR1.
• Ability to work on domestic boiler installations and maintain compliance paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Work with the heating service delivery team on larger projects and independently on routine servicing and repair work.
• Manage installation, maintenance and servicing tasks and complete necessary regulatory paperwork.

Job description

The Opportunity

An exciting vacancy has become available for a permanent role within Cambria's heating service delivery team. We would like to hear from qualified Heating Engineers with experience in gas/oil boiler installations, repairs, commissioning, servicing and testing.

Whilst part of an experienced team you will work with team members on larger projects and individually when on routine servicing and repair work.

Applicants must possess recognised formal training attaining the relevant qualifications i.e. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent and ACS qualifications CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CKR1, HTR1.

You should also be able to undertake domestic boiler installations, repairs, commissioning, servicing and testing of all aspects of new and existing installations; with experience in completing all necessary paperwork to comply with current regulations and our Gas Safe/Oftec registrations.

We are currently installing renewable heat sources such as air source heat pumps, hybrid systems and the like which may also form part of this role.

The rate of pay for this role is £18.77 per hour for a basic 40-hour week, average earnings £39k per year.

You must also possess a current valid full driving licence (a company van is provided). You will also participate in our 24/7 emergency call out service for which there is an addition payment.

Previous experience of installing, maintaining and servicing heat pumps would be beneficial.
