Job summary

Sureserve Compliance Central seeks an experienced Heating Engineer to service and repair domestic heating systems across the region. You will ensure safe, efficient operation and complete required documentation while delivering high levels of customer care to clients and tenants.

The role requires gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1) and OFTEC oil qualifications, with out-of-hours rota and potential travel involved. Attractive benefits and company vehicle included.

Responsibilities

We are a national company offering market leading heating & hot water solutions from a network of regional offices across the East of England and the Midlands, strategically positioned to ensure comprehensive coverage and uncompromised access to our clients

We are seeking an experienced gas and oil engineer to join our busy team to carry out service, and repairs on domestic heating and hot water systems for our customers.

Overview ofRole:

The primary responsibility of the Heating Engineer will be to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties. They will ensure that the heating & hot watersystems are operating efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.
• Ensure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.
• To comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.

Key Attributes & Requirements:

• Gas qualifications are essential for this role including as a minimum CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
• Oil qualifications are essential for this role including OFTEC certifications.
• Out of Hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis isrequired as part of this role
• A friendly and professional attitude to build strong relationships with clients & tenants
• It is important that we complete all the appropriate criminal and reference checks before you start working with us.

Working hours are:

• 5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5pm - 40 hrs
• 4 days per week (working days to be agreed 8am to 7pm 40 hrs with a shift enhancement of up to £4160 per annum
• 5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5.30pm - 42.5 hrs with a shift enhancement of up to £2749 per annum

1 hour for lunch daily, call out rota to go on doing evenings & weekend work.

• 5 days per week (Mon - Fri) 8am to 5pm - 40 hrs
