About the Role

An established and high-performing sixth form college is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Health & Social Care Teacher to join their successful Social Sciences team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a newly qualified educator with strong subject knowledge and a passion for supporting post-16 learners. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across Level 2 and Level 3 Health & Social Care programmes, helping students to develop the knowledge, skills, and understanding required to progress into higher education or employment in the health and social care sector.

Person Specification Essential

  • A sound understanding of the BTEC Health & Social Care curriculum at Levels 2 and 3.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and supporting student success.
Desirable
  • Previous experience teaching in a sixth form or FE setting.
  • Experience of internal verification or assessment of BTEC qualifications.
