About the role

As a Hearing Aid Technician, you’ll be part of a dynamic, high-performing service team dedicated to delivering the best quality hearing solutions to Sonova customers across the UK and Europe. In a fast-paced, technology-driven environment, you’ll use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and precision manufacturing techniques to create, customise, and repair small, intricate hearing instruments that make a real difference in people’s lives.

You’ll contribute to a culture of quality, efficiency, and teamwork — cross‑training across multiple functions to support production needs while developing valuable technical and problem‑solving skills. More about the role

  • Use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to design, modify, and prepare digital models of hearing aid components and shells
  • Collaborate with colleagues across production and quality teams to ensure every product meets Sonova’s high standards for accuracy and performance
  • Cross‑train in adjacent production functions to support operational flexibility
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace, following all health and safety procedures
  • Perform visual and functional inspections to verify compliance with quality requirements
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and in line with company standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance production processes

More about you

  • Excellent English — able to communicate clearly and understand technical information.
  • IT literate and confident using everyday software, including Microsoft Office and email
  • Familiarity with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or similar digital modelling tools (desired)
  • Experience working with small components or within a design, manufacturing, or technical production environment (desired)
  • Keeps tools and workspace tidy and well‑organised
  • Strong documentation habits and ability to prioritise effectively
