Job summary
Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care is seeking a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist to provide expert hearing assessments, fitting, programming and ongoing support for patients in a caring, professional environment.
You will stay up to date with the latest hearing aid technology, maintain accurate clinical records, work closely with support staff, and contribute to improving patients’ quality of life through personalised, patient‑centred care.
Qualifications
- HCPC registration is required.
- Experience fitting and managing a wide range of hearing aids.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests.
- Fit and program hearing aids to meet individual patient needs.
- Provide patient education, advice and ongoing support to ensure optimal use of hearing devices.
- Perform hearing aid maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in audiology and hearing aid technology through continuous professional development.
