Job summary

Hightown Housing Association is seeking an experienced Healthy Homes Electrician to join the Asset Management team. You will perform Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), diagnose faults, and carry out rewires across occupied and void properties to keep homes safe and compliant.

The role requires a full driving licence, knowledge of the 18th Edition Regulations, and a customer-focused approach to deliver a first-time fix wherever possible.

Qualifications

• Holds Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience inspecting and testing electrical installations.
• Experience working in maintenance, housing or building environments.
• Knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and health and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EICRs and electrical testing programmes.
• Diagnose faults and complete electrical repairs across occupied and void properties.
• Complete full and partial rewires, electrical installations and upgrades.
• Install and maintain lighting, extractor fans, showers and other electrical equipment.
• Issue electrical safety certificates and ensure compliance with regulations.
• PAT test equipment and maintain accurate records.
