A regional healthcare provider in Exeter is seeking a Healthcare/Theatre Support Worker. This role involves providing personal care, supporting patient recovery, and managing documentation. As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will work across acute hospitals, community settings and theatre teams. You will:
No previous experience or qualifications are required, just a desire to deliver excellent patient care with guidance from your colleagues. Through comprehensive training you will gain the necessary experience and progress along the salary scale. If you have related experience you may start higher on the scale and receive further development opportunities.
Recruitment is for both fixed‑term and substantive positions, minimum 15 hours per week up to 37.5 hours per week. Full flexibility with days/shifts is required; otherwise the role will not be considered.
We require coverage around the clock, including short shifts, day shifts (7:30 – 20:00), and 12.5‑hour day and night shifts with a break. Attend interviews in September. Shift patterns will be confirmed at interview.
